Recorded in Mallorca, Jamaica and Miami, the record marks a deliberate return to the roots of his sound, with singles Lion, Unity and Wildfire (featuring Michael Patrick Kelly) setting the tone. Cologne-born Tilmann Otto has been one of Europe's leading reggae voices since the late 1990s. His 2004 album Confidence entered the German charts straight at number one and went platinum. His 2010 album Diversity also topped the German charts. In 2014 he became the first reggae artist ever to record an MTV Unplugged session, and in 2005 he won the ECHO Award for Best National Male Artist. In 2025 he received the Holger Czukay Pop Music Prize of the City of Cologne. Over a career spanning more than 25 years he has performed over 1,000 concerts worldwide and built a devoted audience well beyond the German-speaking market.
