The title alone shows that this will be a very special series of concerts: the US rock band is celebrating more than half a century of music history with Celebration 50 Years of Lynyrd Skynyrd. A total of 15 Lynyrd Skynyrd concerts throughout Europe are on the programme this summer to mark the occasion:

Lynyrd Skynyrd have released more than 60 albums since their debut Pronounced Lĕh-’nérd ‘Skin-’nérd. The southern legends made music history with their song Sweet Home Alabama. Johnny Van Zant, Rickey Medlocke, Damon Johnson, Mark ‘Sparky’ Matejka, Michael Cartellone, Keith Christopher, Peter Keys, Carol Chase and Stacy Michelle are among the current line-up. With the aim of continuing the musical legacy of deceased members, Lynyrd Skynyrd will be touring Europe in 2025, performing hits such as Gimme Three Steps, Simple Man and Free Bird.
