Dave Mustaine founded the band in 1983 and has steered it through 17 studio albums, over 50 million records sold worldwide, 12 Grammy nominations and one Grammy Award win, for Best Metal Performance with the Dystopia title track in 2017. This 2027 European run represents one of the last chances to see the band perform live on the continent before the farewell concludes.
