Eminem: A career full of records

He is undoubtedly one of the most successful rappers in the world: Marshall Bruce Mather III, alias Eminem, has achieved pretty much everything you could possibly put on your agenda in his career. The rapper from Missouri is considered one of the greatest performers of all time, with over 410 million records sold. With his debut album The Slim Shady in 2010 and each of his 10 subsequent albums, Eminem has topped the international charts. The songwriter has already won 15 Grammy Awards. The musician was awarded an Oscar for the film 8 Mile.
Eminem's lyrics are often socially critical. For example, in his ninth studio album Revival, he criticises Donald Trump and police violence against black people.

Comeback in sight? Latest album raises hopes for tour
Eminem's last tour was several years ago: in 2018, he thrilled fans with an exclusive performance in Hanover, among other places. Since then, fans have been waiting for the rapper to make a live comeback.
In July 2024, he released his twelfth studio album, ‘The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)’, a narrative concept album in which Eminem confronts his alter ego Slim Shady. The album was a worldwide hit, reaching top positions in the charts and winning several awards.
Particularly noteworthy: with the music video for ‘Temporary’, Eminem announced in 2025 that he was going to be a grandfather – an emotional moment for many fans.
