Adelmo Fornaciari alias Zucchero is one of Italy's best-known and most successful artists. The musician is known for his characteristic, smoky voice and his ability to combine different musical styles. Zucchero's songs are often influenced by blues, rock and soul, while at the same time the singer remains rooted in Italian tradition. His lyrics, which often deal with love, longing and human emotions, touch the hearts of his listeners worldwide.
Growing up in a musical family, Zucchero focussed on music from an early age. In 1987, the Italian made his breakthrough with the album Blue's and the single Senza una donna. Through collaborations with greats such as Eric Clapton, Sting, Luciano Pavarotti and Paul Young, Zucchero achieved international fame and played concerts all over the world. The singer-songwriter has released 16 albums to date and has topped the charts in several countries. His most recent album, Discover II, was released in 2024.
